What’s SUP?
**SUP** is the governance token of Superfluid DAO
Distributed to users of ecosystem applications via *Streaming Programmatic Rewards. Every app built on the Superfluid protocol is eligible to distribute rewards to their users.*
- 10% of SUP supply already distributed or allocated to ecosystem applications through campaigns in Season 1 and Season 2 (live now)
- 25% still to be allocated from Season 3 onwards, starting August
- Every 3 months, Token holders vote on next season allocations
- If your app wins enough support, you’ll get SUP to distribute as incentives to your users

What’s the deal with SUP?
- Build on Superfluid: use streaming in your app in whatever way makes sense. As a rewards token, as a core feature of your DeFi protocol, or as gamification for your socialFi app. It’s totally up to you!
- Get support on building a Superfluid app from our *devx team,* and *resources.* We are obsessed with helping you succeed, and will get in the trenches with you from the design phase, launch, and ongoing growth.
- Apply for SUP rewards: Season 3 starts Mid August. After a review by the Superfluid Foundation, your app will be included in a proposal for the DAO to vote on. Tokens are allocated based on DAO vote. (check last season’s vote)
- Grow with us: we incentivise our ecosystem apps to work together, and actively push our user base to try all of the ecosystem apps. This is one of the stats we are measuring and optimising for at the end of each season. It’s also easy to build synergies between apps due to the unique features of Super Tokens.
